The Scantronic 5 Series is a 9-zone wirefree alarm system which can protect up to 8 vulnerable areas of a building at any one time. It has been designed to eliminate all the mess and hassle of complex wiring between detection devices, thus making the product exceptionally quick and easy to install and program.

The 5 Series is also easy to operate with an on-board keypad on the 500r+ control panel. You can set the whole building or just part of the system to suit your needs.

It has 16 million different system codes to ensure that it does not cause radio interference from adjacent properties. Ideal for the home, the office or for your shop, with the addition of a 660 speech communicator, your premises can be monitored by family, friends, neighbours or company employees, ensuring you total peace of mind.

We have put together a number of case studies together for a variety of applications that they 5 Series can cover.

CASE STUDY 1

" Our home is several hundred years old with a number of exposed stone walls. We were keen to
have an effective alarm system but were worried about having unattractive, exposed wires running
across the walls. Our security company suggested a 5 Series radio alarm system which to be
honest we have been delighted with. It is effective, but very unobtrusive, perfect for a house like
ours."

CASE STUDY 2

" When we were thinking of having an alarm installed at the house we invited a number of security companies in to quote for the work. On visiting us to explain what our options might be, the representative of one company pointed out that if we went for a radio alarm system we could incorporate a panic button system for my mother who had recently moved in with us. It was something we had never thought of as being
possible with a normal domestic alarm system. We have a speech dialler installed inside the control panel and a pendant transmitter that can be used to call us directly should there ever be a problem. Thankfully, we have never had to use the pendant but it has given us great peace of mind. "

CASE STUDY 3

" We had experienced several burglaries in quick succession so decided that for our own peace of mind, we would install an alarm system. However our dilemma was that we were intending to move sometime during the following eighteen months and we doubted we would recoup our investment from the sale. TTS suggested that we install a radio alarm that is not hardwired into the house, so we could simply take it with us when we moved. We had a 5 Series installed and did in fact take it with us to our new house which we bought last summer. "

CASE STUDY 4

" The idea of having an alarm installed had always conjured up days of having the house in a mess and having our recently decorated walls damaged. However, after a spate of burglaries locally, it seemed like it was something we were going to have to put up with, to avoid becoming just another crime statistic. The installation company suggested that it would be a shame to risk damaging our décor and suggested that we consider a radio alarm system. We went for a 5 Series. It saved us time, and the effort and cost of repairing the damage a hardwired system would have caused. It was a really pain free experience. "

The system has built-in jamming detection, and a 150 event time and date stamped log, providing a record of all system activity which can be simply accessed.
