X10 Mains Interface
Before you can utilise the X10 features with your Powermax system you need this mains
signaling interface unit. It provides the necessary conversion of the Powermax signaling
commands to mains wiring induced data signals. Simply connect this module to the mains supply beside your Powermax Control panel and plug in the data cable between this interface and the Powermax Security control panel. Although the X10 protocol supports 16 mains controlled devices only 7 address codes can be controlled via the Powermax system. However, more then one appliance or lamp module can have the same address so for an example all the bedroom lamps can be set to address 4.
An abundance of timers, and alarm events can be configured by the Powermax inbuilt software to control your entire house so you can turn on your lights and heating before arriving home even cycle lighting and other appliances to "appear" that you're home or even control your Hi-Fi system! This would convince any "would be burglar" that the house is occupied. Its possible to override the timed events and if work keeps you late one night then just phone in to your Powermax enter a PIN and follow the commands to make the required adjustments. This is a 240V version.
