Design and Build a System On Line
First select the fire control panel you need. Each control panel can support 252 devices. (smoke detectors, callpoints, wireless sounders etc) The choice is 4, 12, 24 or 96 zones. The first decision is really to select how many zones do you need? As a rough guide, each floor in a building is a zone so for example an office block with say 5 upper floors, ground floor and a basement level has 7 levels or zones. Obviously you need to select the control panel with more zones than you need as a 4 zone is too small so the next available in the range is the 12 zone controller and will leave a few zones spare for future expansion. A small hotel or B&B with say 3 floor levels will probably only need a 4 zone control. Please note that the zone examples here is a rough guide and large floor areas will need more zones depending on the size of the building but we can help you with the design of course.
Next select the detection devices, types and special features, add aerials, and batteries etc. Ask us
for advice on commissioning and installation time etc. and select these rates and checkout! You will have a complete package cost in minutes, just select the payment options by invoice*, credit card, cheque or just print out the information for future use.
As a rule of thumb, one control panel or signal repeater in a typical brick building requiring full L1 detector coverage
i.e. every room will normally have sufficient range to "see" 50 radio devices. Therefore a 150 device system will probably require 1 main control panel and 2 signal repeater panels (repeater panels are the same choice of 4, 12, 24 or 96 zone controllers which are configured to repeat signals) when selecting the 1 metre aerial option to each panel. Our radio survey will finalise the actual positions and number of signal repeaters required.
