Rate of Rise Heat Detector EDA-D300

The rate of rise heat detector is a sensitive device capable of detecting small but rapid changes in temperature. The detector may be used in place of a smoke detector where the normal environment frequently contains smoke, for example, tobacco smoke or engine fumes. The detector incorporates an upper temperature alarm of 78 C, conforming to response grade 1 category of 855445 part 5.

In excess of 7 years battery life is achievable from this detector (5 years with combined sounder)

The unit sends a verification signal at regular intervals to confirm its communication path. Should any fire or fault condition be detected then that information is transmitted immediately.
