20 Zone Millennium EDA signal repeater

This intelligent signal repeater can provide radio coverage for detectors in a larger building so that a network of these repeaters can be utilised to cover a very large area. A large general hospital or airport are easily supported. In fact 32 repeaters can be used which can form a cluster cell or chain link infrastructure to ensure detector signals arrive back at the main control panel.

Due to variable signal strengths in buildings the EDA design will ask adjacent repeaters to take over command where signals normally reporting to one particular repeater, fall below an acceptable level. Likewise during commissioning all the device signal levels report back to the main control for downloading to a PC for inspection and in effect the entire system is self-learning.
